Business book: the ultimate resource. Exploring
peer-to-peer commerce. Voice
activation applied, sorry for the typos. Peer-to-peer
allows people to share in public resources directly, and allows the unused
processing capability of computers to be shared in use productivity. Napster
is the most popular infamous word here. I
use peer-to-peer to share notes.
Resources in other words. Enterprise
application here is I see is: Education
of staff, training, downloading of materials, sharing of enterprise intellect. My
comments: sales staff, each regional application could have a database of
techniques and methods of operation.
Another region could log on and download this information, at the same
time making some of their data available for the other region. All of this technology is breaking out,
and application is limited only by your imagination and needs. Back
to the book. Peer-to-peer
makes your computer both the server and client. Copyrights
are major issue here, much of the information shared is not legal. Peer
to your applications: Information
and content. Processing
power sharing. Services
providing. The
careful analysis is required to establish what a peer-to-peer approach is
worth considering. Peer-to-peer
can prove useful when people are collaborating and sharing resources and
content on active basis. My
opinion is depending on the size of the enterprise would be what we do with
this application. File
sharing is the best word I can think of for peer-to-peer. Security
and privacy or major issues along with copyright ones. Peer-to-peer
usually an open system, and hackers love these. Encryption
is a possibility, as well as a screen subnet, and firewalls. Once
again a major security risk. Lack of
standards, hackers and other deviants. My
personal application of peer-to-peer, sharing of information. End
of data. |
